Gérald Gallant, a self-taught artist from Quebec, creates works from acrylic splashes randomly thrown onto the canvas. His artistic approach is based on spontaneity, where each painting is born from an emotion or a need to express the moment. Freed from the constraints of realistic representation for a series of his works, he explores his imagination and intuition, developing a unique technique of superimposing imprints.

Since the beginning of his career in 2010, Gallant has enjoyed growing success in several galleries in both Quebec and Mexico. In another of his collections, his travels abroad influence his style, which combines naive art and expressiveness through urban and rural landscapes. His canvases, characterized by vibrant colors and dynamic contrasts, convey a palpable joy. In addition to painting, he has expanded his pictorial work by painting on supports such as metal and wood, thus demonstrating his constant artistic evolution.

Studio work takes up much of his time, both in Quebec and Puerto Vallarta where he paints and is also represented in galleries. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout his career.
