Thalz’s artworks are born from human questions, and what
particularly interests her is human duality—the tension
between fragility and strength, destruction and resilience. For her, art is
a call to express her vision of the world, and it is through
sculpture that she shares her passion for beauty, nature, and
humanity. The "z" in her name marks a new chapter in her
life’s journey.

Alongside her 32 years as a civil engineer, she discovered
what would become a passion: sculpture. Far from being
opposites, these two worlds nourish each other. Designing
a project or shaping a form—in both cases, it's about bringing a vision to life,
solving problems of balance, material, and space.

She trained with inspiring artists at the Segal Centre
(formerly Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts), the School of Visual
and Media Arts at the Université du Québec à Montréal
(UQAM), and the École des beaux-arts in Montreal. Working with clay,
she prefers bronze to bring her works to life.

In 2025, her work was exhibited to the public for the first time
in group exhibitions. She notably participated in
the Art Show St-Honoré group exhibition in Paris in November
2025, organized by Art et Design. She exhibited in a gallery in
Old Montreal and will soon join Galerie Le Chien
d’Or in Old Quebec.

Her journey, her bronze sculptures, and her artistic practice were
highlighted in the French magazine Art & Design (December 2025-February 2026
edition). She also received a Certificate of
Artistic Merit with "Jury Selection" at the 11th edition of the
Luxembourg Art Prize 2025, as well as jury mentions at the
Symposium d’art des Galeries St-Hyacinthe 2026 and at the LOVE
exhibition presented by the Women's Art Society of Montreal
(WASM) at the Conseil des arts de Montréal.

The year 2026 promises to be rich in projects, particularly with her
participation in the Salon des métiers d'art du Québec – a
recognition that allowed her to become a professional member
of the Conseil des métiers d'art du Québec (CMAQ).
