Photo de l'artiste

Pascal Cléry is a French sculptor whose preferred materials are 316L stainless steel and foundry bronze, using various patination techniques.

Under his hands, these materials become a language of curves, light, and balance. Based in Bandol, in the Var region of southern France, he designs and handcrafts unique, powerful yet ethereal works, transforming industrial stainless steel into a medium for emotion and movement.

His approach is artisanal, precise, and demanding. Every sculpture is born from a thoughtful gesture and technical mastery developed over the years. The choice of 316L stainless steel, a highly resistant material, is no accident: it embodies a desire to make his art endure, while offering a poetic reflection on the duality between strength and fragility. He has also been creating bronze sculptures since 2024.

A UNIQUE JOURNEY

Pascal Cléry discovered sculpture in 2018 after an atypical career, transitioning from car racing to the automotive industry, and from industrial commercial management to osteopathy. This wealth of experience nourishes his artistic vision. Far from classical schools, he has developed a personal style rooted in the sensitivity of the gesture and an intuition for the living.

His works are inspired by organic forms, nature, the animal world, the human body, and the music that is omnipresent in his creative process. Each piece tells a silent story, crafted from mastered tensions and subtle balances.

Newly represented by Galerie Le Chien d’Or in Quebec City, Pascal Cléry joins the gallery’s permanent artists as it continues its mission to promote exceptional contemporary creators to Quebec and international collectors. On this occasion, he will be the guest of honor at the major exhibition La Nuit des Galeries, which will be held in Quebec City on September 5, 2026, where the public will be able to discover a selection of his most striking works.
